A Tri-Cities woman made history when voters elected her to a city council seat.

Zahra Roach is an American of Pakistani descent. Her experiences in the aftermath of 9/11, the Oklahoma City bombings and even her successful campaign for city council all tend to circle back to her faith and her family.
